Compare Tennis Ball Machine Prices & Features

Compare and contrast tennis ball machines in four different price categories to find a model that best matches your needs. No two people are the same so there's no model that'll be right for everyone. My own personal preference tends toward the SAM P1 in the first price range (though it is the most expensive) because I like having a choice of power sources, the huge tennis ball hopper and the spin option and I don't mind the bulkiness too much, but then again I like the Lobster machines' two year warranty.

Tennis Ball Machines Up To $1000

Notes: Weights shown are for battery models where there is an AC alternative. Battery models are usually a few pounds heavier than the AC option. Horizontal Oscillation is a side to side sweep of the ball machines's firing mechanism to shoot balls to the left and right of the court. Vertical oscillation is an up/down motion of the same mechanism to land balls to the front or back of the court. A Smart Charger prevents overcharge of a ball machine battery by switching to a 'trickle charge' when required. Two prices indicate with and without oscillation feature except for the Ball Bucket which has a with and without Spin Attachment price. Free Ship/LPG is no charge for delivery and a Low Price Guarantee. ie, if you find the same new ball machine cheaper, then the merchant will at least match the lower price you've found up to 30 days from purchase.

Tennis Ball Machines From $1001 - $1500

Notes: TOTL = Top Of The Line *The Term 'Tennis Tower' Covers A Range Of Four Named Models. The Basic Model - The 'Competitor Classic' Is Shown Above. The Addition Of A Remote Control Changes The Model To The 'Club". Similarly, The Addition Of A Remote Control, A 2 Line Oscillator & A Larger Battery Converts The Playmate Half Volley (Above) To The Playmate Volley (Below). 2 Line Oscillation Allows The Ball Machine To Throw Balls Down Two Separate Lines To The Forehand And Backhand In Succession In Addition To Throwing Balls In A Random Sweep Across The Court. '(Optional)' Remote Controls & Smart Chargers Are Not Included In The Price Of The Ball Machine They Are Made For.

Tennis Ball Machines Priced From $1501 - $2500

Lobster Elite 3

Notes: Oscillation (both) - Lobster machines above are able to oscillate horizontally & vertically at the same time for complete court coverage. Oscillation Type: 'R'. & 'Rd'. = Random. 2 Line throwing can be 'N' - Narrow or 'W' - Wide. Lobster Grandslams have a 3rd 'M' setting = Medium. There's quite a contrast in Remote Control complexity in this price range from a simple feed 'On/Off to 10 - 20 different functions - 'Multi'. Programmable: 'Pre-Prog.' = Pre-Programmed with shot sequences accessable at the touch of a button.

Ball Machines Priced From $2501 - $28,500

Notes: Some Programmable machines offer a short sequence of deliveries along separate lines or positions on court. eg '3-Seq. (3 - Sequence)' , but are limited to the same type of shot (re spin, speed, elevation etc). Others allow programming of different types of shot as well as the different lines- eg '7 Shots 7-Seq'. This can create quite complex sequences of simulated 'play'. PP & P-Prog. = Pre-Programmed Shots/Sequences. Re SAM Robot, '10K' = 10,000 shots! *Re Playmate Slam, the price includes both the Slam Ball Machine ($7495) and the Serve Lift ($4695) that elevates the machine to enable 'serves' from the right height. SAM Robot is also able to elevate itself to a serving height.
