Lobster have the option of 'upgrading' your Elite machine by the addition of a wireless remote control - a simple 2 function remote for machines up to the Elite 3, and a fancy 20 function box of tricks for the Grandslam IV and V.

If you have the extra funding, these remote controls can save you alot of wasted time and energy in your practice session as you won't have to repeatedly wander back to the machine to adjust settings.

If you're lucky enough to be buying one of the Elite Grandslams, the $300 remote is great value as it allows control over most variables like speed, spin, feed rate, oscillation sweep, random operation, two-line function and more!

Unfortunately, there's a bit of a gulf between the available functions on the smaller remote and it's impressive cousin, but it's play/pause feed and oscillation controls could still save a few hassles.

There are a few other useful items to enhance your Lobster Ball Machine. For those frustrated by the time it takes to recharge the battery with the basic charger, (10 - 12 hours), there are two alternatives to compress that time - the fast charger and the super-fast charger.

Both have a 'trickle charge' feature that prevents damage to the battery from overcharging, but the premium charger reduces charging time down to 1 - 3 hours!

For those wanting the ability to use their tennis machine for extended periods, the optional external battery should add an extra 4 - 8 hours to your practice time. It's good for any of the range, and has it's own fast charger and canvas bag with shoulder strap.
